How We Verify
Most campground listings on the internet are scraped once and left to rot. Prices change, fairgrounds renovate, campgrounds close — and the listing never notices. FairgroundsRVParks.com is built the other way around.
The verification pass
Every listing on this site was checked by a researcher against the fairgrounds' own published information — its official website, rate sheets, fair books, county policies and booking pages. When sources disagreed (and they disagree constantly), the official source won, and the listing waited until the conflict could be resolved rather than publishing a guess.
The stamp is the promise
Every property page carries a “Last verified” date — the day its facts were last checked. Listings are re-verified on a rolling annual pass. If a fairgrounds cannot be verified, it does not get a price: its page says “Price not published — call ahead” and gives you the phone number instead of a number we made up.
What we check
Price (nightly, weekly and monthly where offered) · hookups and amperage · number of sites · maximum rig length · how reservations work · season and fair-week blackout dates · dump station · maximum stay · phone and official website.
Help us keep it true
Fairgrounds staff and campers: if a price, date or detail on any listing is wrong, tell us. Every property page carries a “Report an update” link — corrections go straight into the next verification pass.
